AN ADDICTED HUMANITY: Do you want to be able to detect which it is your dependence or enslavement?

EVERYONE IS ADDICTED TO SOMETHING

Concerning the unwholesome, destructive or unhealthy dependencies that deprive us of our health, freedom and happiness.

ADDITION is quite simply something that you can’t give up. When we’re addicted to something or someone, we can’t be without them, even if it hurts and damages us. An addiction is a type of slavery or dependence.

If we delve a little deeper into the very meaning of the term, the following are some examples; we are addicts when we have an urgent need to repeat and repeat the same thing, to do the same thing, or at the very least, to always do it in the same way, to continue sticking to a certain practice without so much as liking it, even to the point at which we realize it hurts and damages us. We are addicted to resorting to the same behaviors over and over again without being aware that we are trapped by our ingrained reactions, responses, customs or habits.

In this sense it could be said that we are addicted to oxygen, to breathe, to sleep, to eat or drink; but all these addictions are by definition natural, a natural command given to us by our instinct.

When we talk about “addictions”, it would be more accurate to refer to UNWHOLESOME, DESTRUCTIVE OR UNHEALTHY ADDICTIONS. For example, the addiction to a certain relationship that does not bring us any satisfaction. To saving money and not actually enjoy it. To smoking, drinking alcohol or using harmful substances. To overeat ceaselessly, or to binge without any physiological need. But there are many more harmful addictions that we succumb to on a daily basis, that is, to a type of enslavement that we’re not even aware of.

At the root of all addictions there is a structural and psycho-emotional foundation that gives rise to said addictions, to the point where if that addictive structure is not eliminated, the need for dependance will continue to be exist and manifest in one way and another. You may be able to give up one addiction, only to fall for another. It’s a very common thing. It is because the need for dependance still exists.

The vast majority of clinics or centres that treat addictions address the problem from the surface, coercing the addict to give up something that is BAD. It’s a process where guilt, social pressure, and the desirability of overcoming addiction are used in order to achieve greater benefits. Furthermore, there are  other strategies that, while providing positive outcomes and results in many cases, they do not manage to get to the root of why an individual ends up trapped in addiction.

Within the team of Inner Mastery & Ayahuasca International, where we are involved directly in treating different problems with the psychotherapeutic use of Ayahuasca and other natural substances, there have been cases where some participants have experienced the phenomenon of being freed from their addictions, something that have left us really surprised. These same people who healed themselves and overcame addictions to certain dependencies, later trained at the European Ayahuasca School, and currently work as facilitators at the inner evolution retreats that we organise in more than 10 countries. For some of them it’s even a full-time job.

Their experiences have given rise to the initiative, at our retreats, to delve deeper into the subject of addictions, since all our retreats are attended by people with different types of addictions. We have a medical and psychological team to assist anyone who may be interested in delving deeper to get to the roots of how these addictive structures arise and are maintained, and how to destroy them and thus be free to live a dependency-free life.

The main tool used is accessing the potentiality of each person, because when it does manifest itself, then everything that causes humiliation, that causes a sense of culpability or makes one suffer, can be solved. Medicinal plants brought from different parts of the world, such as ‘ayahuasca’ or ‘iboga’, are used by us to create a deep cleansing process in the body that facilitates direct access to the nucleus of addiction and so that it can act on the withdrawal symptoms.

Each individual’s encounter with the roots of their addiction is a fundamental step in causing the addictive structure to crumble.

One can come to any of our retreats that we organize in more than 30 countries to get into contact with this powerful method of transcendental healing; it doesn’t even have to be the case that not one is addicted to some substance or other, but because humans are addicted to many things that harm them and complicate both their life and health.

BEING FREE OF EVEN SMALL ADDITIONS GRANTS US GREAT POWER AND A SURVIVAL MECHANISM IN THE OUR DAILY LIVES. BECAUSE WHEN THAT HAPPENS WE REALISE THAT WE CAN ALSO BE FREED FROM MANY, EVEN MORE COMPLICATED THINGS THAT ARE NOT HEALTHY FOR OUR LIFE. ESPECIALLY IF WE HAVE GONE TO THE ORIGIN OF THE ADDITION THAT WE OVERCAME.

One can even come to the retreat simply to see how we treat addictions, in case one ever wants to send someone who has some very heavy addiction and one wants to be part of the solution.

WE DO NOT PROMISE TO GET RID OF ANY ADDITIONS, WE CAN TELL YOU WHAT WE HAVE DONE WITHIN OURSELVES. WE WANT TO ENCOURAGE YOU TO BE DARING ENOUGH SEE WHAT IS YOUR ADDITION REALLY IS AND THROUGH FIND YOURSELF A WAY OUT.

The tools that we handle and have acquired mastery of, are very powerful, we combine effective psychotherapeutic techniques with powerful master plants. A truly effective blend that will support you and guide you on the path to freedom.

The footprint without a trace

The encounter between Rumi and his master, whose name is certainly not appropriate to pronounce because every true master knows he is not.
Rumi the disciple. Disciple means openness to the divine. The word “master” is only a symbol that indicates an appearance of someone. Someone who knows he is not. Like many stories of masters and disciples, they are stories of pure love. This is a very particular story held in high esteem in Sufi circles.
