THE WORK IN THE EUROPEAN SCHOOL OF AYAHUASCA
Beyond coming to learn, students find something for themselves, which remains a mystery.
A STUDENT’S STORY:
Through ayahuasca and the psychotherapeutic dynamics, lectures, and fascinating, healing integrations that magically combine to give more meaning and color to everything, I’ve managed to free my soul from faults that were not mine and conditionings, also from outside, which I have been absorbing all of my life
During the two formative retreats (which seem to have been 20), I have felt a level of intensity that I may not ever have known. I’ve connected with my deepest being and I have remembered who I really am, within, far removed from the fears and misunderstandings that adorn my life, the part of my being that is pure love. I mean the being who loves unconditionally and sees the most profound beauty in people, and who doesn’t put up barriers. The being that does not harbor resentment, who forgives with no questions asked. The being without masks that loves (and therefore accepts) herself, who loves herself truly. I have remembered that this being exists and lives within me.
This has filled me with joy and hope, joy because it is a relief to find oneself in a place in time where guilt does not exist, where there is only love energy. Now I know what that is. I know it’s much harder to get to that point in daily life, without anything external to help us open our hearts or expand our consciousness, when we return to being mere humans with wild instincts that cloud our way of the light. However, I know it is possible…because I’ve seen it, I’ve been there, I’ve accessed that ground. I’m not talking about a world in which there is no conflict, because that is more long term, but a world in which each of us (in my case, me) take responsibility for our own reality.
I am very grateful to this organization and community for not only giving me the opportunity to become acquainted with the sacred medicine that has revealed so much to me, but for the precious experiences that we share, the teachings, so lucid and magical at the same time, that inspire me to conquer the world, but above all to conquer myself, and not to mention the coexistence in love and acceptance without judgment among all present. We have shared genuinely transcendent moments in which we were no longer humans, but pure energy, absolute love and healing. Thanks to each of you for those moments, and thanks to me for enjoying them.
Through those moments, I have come to feel complete happiness. I’ve danced and sung again with passion and sensuality. I’ve felt the blood rushing through my veins. I’ve felt beautiful and feminine. I’ve felt free. If I mention this, it’s because many of these feelings I had lost, or at least they were very well hidden.
In this environment I have felt empowered, willing to fight for what is worthy. I am convinced that if I can forgive myself and forgive everyone and everything, I can live in peace with myself and with everyone around me, regardless of what happens. This is my challenge, to transcend the experience from the retreat with ayahuasca into my everyday life.
I appreciate that the school puts me to the test, and gives me the smack on the head that I need to keep me waking up and not pretending to be oblivious when I make myself believe that I cannot change, because it’s easier that way. I’d be lying if I said that I have resolved everything overnight, as I am in mid-process of healing and learning to find my being again day by day, and it’s a lengthy process, but little by little I am moving along … open, aware, grateful …
I know I’m on the right track and I am motivated, willing to trust.
Seizing Thanksgiving Day, I want to express my gratitude for having arrived at this school, for countless reasons, beginning with my reunion with myself.
