Because of this natural tragedy, many families need help. All of them are very close to our hostel (which was not affected by these mud and rock avalanches), which is why we want to seize the opportunity we already have of taking many people every month and invite them to join in our humanitarian labour in Mocoa.
Almost all of the Ayahuasca (Yagé) we use in our retreats in over 15 countries comes from this zone in the south of Colombia. Here we have learned from shamans (Taitas) and comprehended the need to take this natural medicine to thousands of people around the world who cannot go to the jungle.
With our organisation we are not only helping these families economically (with our campaign for raising money), but also employing many Colombians who live in the place where tragedy struck; going to Mocoa with groups of people will contribute a lot to this reconstruction labour.
It is time to accelerate the healing process of people who live there and our own, because now it acquires a superior meaning, from the humanitarian point of view.

We are a vital organisation for the entry of thousands of tourists to this city, giving support to the indigenous families because we buy their handicrafts and sell them in over 15 countries where we make retreats, and hiring them to make Ayahuasca sessions in our hostel and bringing them to Europe on tour.
From our various headquarters in many American and European countries we get specially priced plane tickets, we do reservations and coordinate the transportation from the arrival to the hostel if requested.
In our webpage www.ayahuascatravels.com you can find reservation options from 5 to 11 days in our hostel. For staying longer and helping Mocoa, we have very low rates: starting at 10€ per person and per day, sleeping in the Casa del Río hostel, which belongs to us.
