BASIC LEVEL OF THE WORK MODEL STRUCTURE WE SHARE
Understand the fundamental points on which the European School of Ayahuasca training programme is based.
From the first day the school started, and at every moment that the opportunity presents itself, Alberto presents a series of points again and again that can be focused in many ways and which contain the bases from which everything that is taught is proposed.
These points, described below, have the capacity to disrupt the belief systems of many of the participants so that they assume an attitude of unlearning. Some can understand, assimilate and integrate them while others can’t and leave because they can not let go of a belief that traps them. Recognizing that and deciding to leave is a great act of consciousness. There is gratitude for those who realize in time that their belief system does not fit these basic premises that support what we propose in the school.
To unlearn and de-configure is like saying goodbye to everything learned to give space for the new.
This is Alberto Varela’s favourite concept, who has named what he puts forwards as a PROGRAMME OF DE-PROGRAMMING and asks the questions: Can we open the door to the new with what we already know? Can we learn something new by retaining what we have already learned? Can we create a new order without first disordering what was so well accommodated? Can we change a model of life if the creator of the old model does not die?
This disorder of ideas and beliefs produces chaos which participants experience as if they were in an ayahuasca session. That is why Alberto affirms that he does not need ayahuasca to create an expanded state of consciousness. He does these DE-PROGRAMMING sessions by offering a space of confrontation to participants, carrying out No-Therapy. This is a methodology which is very difficult to digest but that produces an awakening of consciousness and genuine relief at being able to see new real options and find original solutions.
WE WANT AND LIKE TO SAY “NO” BECAUSE WE ARE OPENING OURSELVES UP TO THE UNCONDITIONAL YES.
A long list of NOs to be able to say a single YES to personal empowerment:
NO NO NO NO…! How many times have we omitted using NO? How many times have we heard NO with certain rebellion and rejection? How many times would it have done us good to say a blunt NO or obey a wise NO? How many times have we used NO to avoid, escape, and not surrender to the new and different? Are we conscious that NO has given us a false power to manipulate, reject or humiliate others?
This shows that it is a key word in our evolution. Because unless we know how to say “NO” from a place of power and sensitivity of authority, we will never be able to say “YES” from our hearts.
1. We do not work with ayahuasca but with consciousness. We do not revere or worship tools or techniques. We do not worship anything that is separate from existence.
2. We do not focus on doing but on being. We are not interested in having to do something to get something. The law of cause and effect automates us and eliminates consciousness. Machines do not need intelligence.
3. We do not propose healing others but rather ourselves. We are not focused on what happens to others but rather on what can be awakened by connecting with others. We inspire awakening by being awake.
4. We do not work to make money or for money but rather with money. We consider money as part of the healing energy, intended for the evolution of attitudes with the material. Money is as sacred as anything.
5. We do not offer help, curing, healing, visionary journeys, awakening or enlightenment, but rather support and accompany. The technology needed to transcend is so complex that something formless is needed.
6. We do not give knowledge. We do not transfer experiences. We do not teach others, but rather we activate the ability to know that each person has. Knowledge can not be delivered, it must be produced within each human being who dares to venture into the unknown with trust.
7. We do not promise results or solutions. We offer tools and resources for empowerment. We do not do therapy or treat people. We do not offer transformation or change. We are understanding.
8. We are not part of any ayahuasca, spiritual or therapeutic organization. Without ayahuasca we will continue to do the same work. We follow no indigenous tradition, no spiritual school, no philosophy of life.
9. We do not have a rigid way of doing things. We create, redesign and rework. We do not follow fixed nor generalized rules. We consider the individuality of each moment and situation.
10. We are not based on titles or trajectory, but on the experience and the charismatic manifestation of the soul. A human being who does not judge because they are clean is so wonderful. A pure way of looking is our greatest capital.
11. There is no salvation or solution. We do not want to and can not save anyone. Not the world, not humanity. There is no solution to the uncontrolled growth that a lack of unconsciousness has had throughout history. The only thing we know to do is to Transcend. This is to Heal the soul by releasing it from the bonds of conditioning.
12. We do not rely on strict plans, not on predefined agendas, but rather on spontaneity and order. Trust has taught us to flow, love has taught us to surrender and freedom has taught us to open ourselves. That is the order we respect: 1- Trust 2- Love 3- Freedom. Then everything else.
13. We do not contribute to the attachment and admiration of facilitators, techniques or model mentors. We do not propose guides to follow or imitate, but rather that each one follows them-self.
14. We do not encourage the achievement of goals, objectives or high ideals. But rather allow blossoming. We do not suggest or try to change or improve people, but rather that they realize what they are not.
15. There is not anything that prevents us from saying YES, truly and consciously. Yes to living, yes to loving, yes to understanding, yes to enjoying, yes to being free, yes to the experience that we have been dealt. Fear is real, but it can not control us.
