Ayahuasca is made with different vegetable infusions and the indigenous Amazonian shamans usually use it therapeutically and for the purpose of self-knowledge. In those who practice the ritual, Ayahuasca produces a discovery of the world of spirits and subtle energies that in turn refers to a very deep bond with Mother Nature.

On this theme, Mother Plant premiers today. It is a film directed by Gianfranco Quattrini which tells the story of “The Santoro Brothers”, a pioneering Argentine rock band at the end of the ’60s, and narrates one of the band member’s trips to the Peruvian jungle forty years later, in search of an Amazonian healer to heal with ayahuasca and reconcile with his past.

Many rock and entertainment  personalities choose to experience this sensation. Silvina Luna, Nicolás and Gastón Pauls or Rolando Graña have confessed to having tried the Ayahuasca cure.

Sting, The Police vocalist, in his autobiography “Broken Music”, confessed: “Each leaf, each flower. each insect called me. It was a feeling of being connected that fascinated me. ”

Oliver Stone: The director of “Peloton” and “JFK” noted: “I do not go anywhere near cocaine, but I believe in LSD, mescaline, mushrooms and ayahuasca, which is a very strong rubber tree juice”.

Babasónicos: The mythical national rock band, in a well-known song on their album Luces released in 2007, refers to the ritual of Ayahuasca: “I have taken the plant, I have solved the mystery”.
