INNER EVOLUTION IS FREEDOM

Santo Daime is the global religion that has made ayahuasca known. Inner Mastery International S.L.U is the multinational company which is showing that Ayahuasca can be used outside the context of religions, beliefs, cultures and sacred rituals.

Many people confuse us with a religious organisation, but once at our retreats realise that this could not be further from truth. Our organisation is business-like and professional, we have a style manual, not a bible, we respect the Constitution of each country that we go to, not the designs of a charismatic leader. We do not have sacraments or consider that something or someone is more sacred than another.

We are over 100 people with all sorts of beliefs and religions, from Jews to Christians, from Atheists to Muslims, from Evangelicals to all sort of sinners. We love the diversity of beliefs and can testify that the religions that we have can not separate us or hurt our relationships. Rather the contrary, we are united by an understanding that we are on some kind of sincere spiritual search. But dangerously spirituality has been confused with religion, something that has complicated things for thousands of years, to those seekers who can’t tell the difference. What need is there to belong to a religious or sectarian group when one is seeking truth and freedom? What is the sense in leaving one religion to join another which is better or worse? Why do so many people become religious in the context of a statue, writing or guru? How and why have these religions that come from Ayahuasca been born?

It seems that we humans feel alone when it comes to wanting to live life, so we look for company everywhere, and when we need help, advice or comfort we are vulnerable to others taking advantage of us, to being manipulated, including by being converted into what the other wants us to be. This situation screams of the weak we are in facing  situations that overcome us. For this reason it satisfies us to be with similar people to strengthen one another mutually in what we think and feel, especially in the context of beliefs; in general we relate with those that think the same as us and we become attached to those that tell us what we want or need to hear, or that give us what we lack.

Businesses, religions, organisations, clubs or political parties operate more or less in the same way. They want to make money, invest, expand around the world, position themselves, have more power and achieve the objectives that they have set out. Franchises are not new in the world, they date back thousands of years, and they have always been greatly successful because they dedicate themselves to creating copies of the same thing to bring people who have the same tastes, preferences or inclinations together.

There is something in every human being that makes us unique and different, and from that place of exclusivity we look for others that are similar or are at the same point as us. Be it for cultural, religious, economic, social, or consciousness affinity. Once several form the same variety are found and brought together, anything can happen, from creating a community for all to live together, founding a religion to have freedom in action of what we want to do, organising a revolutionary army, creating a racist or radical movement , or forming an NGO to help the needy in Africa. The motives are infinite, but those that are in the worst situation are those that play with the protected religious beliefs that for them are sacred.

Santo Daime was born in the Amazon when its founder drank ayahuasca and said the virgin Mary  told him to take this natural medicine all over the world. From there he started to preach and evangelize, but including the conscious work with natural medicine. We can affirm that this a syncretic movement. Like all franchises, there will be groups from different countries, better or worse, more or less radical or moderate. But there are several more religions like the Vegetable Union. Instead of taking a beating each Sunday they take a little cup of Ayahuasca. Later then sing, dance and connect with the divine. Its sacrament is a natural medicine.

Since time began, humanity has needed to trust others, open itself to others, share with others, and establish links based on affinity that allows the same beliefs or ways of seeing life, the world and existence (or what they call God.)

In this way, every church is like a business or a kind of organisation. They are a grouping that follow concrete aims, be it to raise money for charitable works, create religious schools, send missionaries around the world to expand their beliefs, put bombs on planes and markets, give food to the poor, or party on gay pride day. Behind every organisation is a stamp, a system of beliefs and a particular interest.

I, as founder of this international organisation, having studied religions for several decades, and having verified on countless occasions that belief systems are directed towards the interests of those that lead them and that they control devotees, can not remain indifferent or look the other way. Because of that I decided to adopt a particular position in relation to beliefs and religions.

Ours is very clear and defined and has been since the day we were born as an organisation: RECONCILE OURSELVES WITH OUR PARENTS, HEAL THE WOUNDS OF THE PAST, OPEN THE HEART TO LIFE AND LOVE, ENJOY THE FREEDOM OF BEING OURSELVES, ELEVATE OUR CONSCIOUSNESS IN ORDER TO EVOLVE INTERNALLY IN A WAY THAT WE CAN RESOLVE ISSUES THAT MAKE US SUFFER AS A CIVILISATION.

I love my biological family, my children, my grandchildren are unified by respect for what each of us is, we all work in the same organisation: INNER MASTERY, because it allows us to spend more time together and to find any excuse to fight and support one another. It’s really thrilling to live like this.

In May, we will be in Argentina and Uruguay giving free conferences, sharing quality information, answering questions and above all showing our faces because we have nothing to hide. Rather the contrary, our way is to open from the heart so that everything that is in us can be seen. We are sure that many people will see themselves in us, and in that case we will not ask them to sign up to any organisation, rather that they come to one of our inner evolution retreats with psychotherapeutic use of ayahuasca and bufo alvarius.

These retreats are having great success in the world because there are many people who no longer want to be injected with more beliefs or be made to adore others.

That is why the name of our organisation and business is called: INNER MASTERY.
